How the math works
Gross pay. Yearly pay is your hourly wage × hours per week × weeks per year. Overtime hours are paid at 1.5× and blended into every figure; the effective hourly rate shows what you truly earn per hour worked.
Take-home estimate. We subtract 2026 federal income tax for a single filer (standard deduction $16,100; brackets 10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, 37%) and FICA (7.65% for Social Security and Medicare). No state taxes, no benefits or retirement deductions. It’s a planning number, not a pay stub.
Assumptions you can change. Hours per week and weeks per year default to 40 and 52, adjust them for part-time work, unpaid time off, or seasonal schedules and every figure recalculates instantly.
